After Qin Xue washed up, she started tending to her medicinal garden, although there wasn’t much she could do. She simply checked to see if there were any other medicinal plants she could grow.

"Master, we’re back." Xue Ling entered the house but didn’t see anyone, so she called out to Qin Xue with her mind.
"I’m in the medicine garden." Qin Xue stood up, which was particularly difficult given her pregnancy, even more so when she had been squatting down.

"You gathered quite a bit, but we can’t manage all that now. Let’s roast some to eat, and deal with the rest tomorrow, how does that sound?" Qin Xue walked side by side with Xue Ling, feeling this was the best approach.
"I have no problem, but with so many people, I wonder if there’ll be enough to eat?" Xue Ling had no complaints, as having food was what mattered, but with so many pets and people, it’s impossible to satisfy everyone quickly.
"Snow Wolf, could you catch a few more?" Qin Xue looked towards Snow Wolf, who was waiting for her instructions.
"Awoo." Snow Wolf had no objections. He intended to catch more at first but only has one mouth, so he can’t bring back a lot. Initially, he wanted to deliver them to Chu Molin and the others and then continue, but upon hearing Xue Ling say to return, he followed suit. Now that the mistress has spoken, he has no reason to refuse.
"Thank you, you’re fantastic. Be careful." Qin Xue bent slightly, patting its head.
"Awoo." Alright, alright, I’ll be back soon.
Watching his playful demeanor, Qin Xue smiled happily. Snow Wolf truly understands human emotion.
His spiritual nature really stands out compared to other animals, appearing more genuine.
"Off you go." Qin Xue encouraged him to go since wolves naturally dislike restraint, but within these confines, there was no alternative. Otherwise, she wouldn’t want to keep him cooped up.
Snow Wolf joyfully bounded off to catch spiritual mice, while Qin Xue and the others began organizing the goods Chu Molin and the team brought back, and truly, there was a lot.
"Chu Molin, are you thinking about eating sour bamboo shoots?" Qin Xue joked upon seeing the bamboo shoots.
"I noticed you hadn’t much appetite, so I brought some for you to enjoy." Chu Molin wasn’t particular about his own diet but prioritizes his wife’s needs.
"Alright, then I’ll prepare some sour and some spicy." Qin Xue wasn’t visibly excited, but sour bamboo shoots are indeed a great appetizing snack.
As Qin Xue said this, she prepared to start cooking, though Chu Molin didn’t let her; things he could manage didn’t require her additional effort.
In any case, whatever she could handle, she did herself, so seeing Chu Molin step in, she didn’t insist on helping.
As long as he’s at home, she needn’t get involved in chores herself.
